Funny you posted this, because I actually had this idea. I wasn't going to pay a referral per post, but rather a flat fee for each new member referred ($1 or $2 or something). Two problems with this:

1. People could sign up tons of useless accounts that never contribute anything (this is a proble with the pay per signup method).
2. This would be WAY too hard to track (the multi-tiered pay per post method).

It's a good idea, but it's just not going to happen. I hope you refer a bunch of friends here anyway. So far, I'm happy with the success of the forum. People are actually TALKING POKER, and seem to be really enjoying it.
