I don't think everything Taylor says is dogma, especially the quote stated above, and this is coming from a CR member. It's one thing to make sure you're playing the best poker you can (making the best decisions, etc.) but poker is a long term game.
You're not going to see results (or learn something new) every two weeks.

I mean ya ur not going to learn some totally new concept, but i think you can talk alot about a certain hand and learn to play that hand better, or learn the exact odds you're sposed to have pf to call a 3bet with a small PP and stuff like that.

I think what JD's point is don't be complacent. It's easy to just go through the motions and play the game you already know. It takes work to actually try and improve your game every time you play. I'm struggling with that myself. That and especially bankroll management has killed me lately. Nice post.

I think this should be a topic for another thread, but calling reraises for set value against most decent opponents now is -EV because they have bigger reraising ranges that makes set farming -EV against them.
