TP why would you post the password here?

This freeroll is for our members, not freeroll chasers with no contributions to the forum. I'd PM all real members the PW when you plan to release it (PMings all real user who are logged in at around that time) No one else deserves anything

Got to agree with this strongly TP. The freeroll is a gift to TP members because of Dreampokers agressive spamming in the beginning.

It should be members only who contribute, not a free for all, with ppl who wont come back, If any new members want to stay around after they will realise this is a good forum and contribute and enter any further freerolls.

its for memebers who had to deal with all the spam from dream poker, not for idiots that stop by to try to win 5 dollars then leave to donate it at some NL game never to be seen of again.....well maybe they might come back next year when we have another freeroll. I wont be in it because I'am too busy tonight and dream poker wont load for some reason GL all.

Greedy? LOL

First of all I may or may not play in the freeroll tonight, so what Im saying is not for me but for others.

Secondly the freeroll is for members of the forum, not people who came here SPECIFICALLY AND ONLY for the freeroll. It is not meant to attract new members, nor is made to attract "freeroll chasers" It's meant so the community here can play with each other -- that simple

We had a freeroll once before and it resulted in a bunch of annoying posts, begging etc and it was quite annoying, which is why we decided never to do one again -- this time someone hosted one for us.

If you'd like feel free to stick around. There are some very good and successful players around here who can fine tune your game. Once you are a member of the community next time a deal like this comes up you'd be welcome

no one said we couldnt, and I dont remember anyone saying they were better then anyone else. But normally people that come just for the freeroll dont stay, I think last one we had, we had about 50 new people or so come and we kept I would say maybe 3-5 of them as users. Talking poker dosent mind the new users but the ones that cant read the 1st post in the thread are annoying as hell, why is it so hard to under stand....

While I agree with the rest of your post, this part simply isn't entirely true. This freeroll was offered to us BEFORE I put my foot down about the DP spam. After I banned a number of their accounts, DP PM'd me with an apology and still wanted to go forward with this freeroll... They even increased the $ amount.

While 95% of the people this attract are not going to stick around, having open freerolls like this CAN attract new, quality people. See above post by me for examples.

Everyone has to start here sometime... Imagine if JD found us because of a freeroll (and I think he may have). Aren't you glad he did and we weren't jerks to him (Well, any more than we actually were) from the start?

Nice idea, in theory... but do you have any idea how massive of a headache it would be for me to send out 50+ PMs right now, let alone decide where to draw the line. I mean, should the complete non-contributors who are only here for the occasional freeroll and contest be allowed to play? Should it be completely invite only? Should it be for everyone registered before such and such a date? Too complicated. And it's DP's money, so I have no problem with letting some of the DP players take a shot at it.

This freeroll is for TP members - old and new. If some of the new people enjoy themselves, maybe they will stick around the forum. I know it will be a very, very small percentage, but that's ok. If memory serves, we got people like N1kita and Robbie Robb (and maybe a few others) from that massize clusterfuck of a freeroll last year.... As crazy as this place got around then, it was still worth it in the end just for the addition of those two, IMO.

Thanks for the opinions, but this freeroll will be open to all members of the forum.
