You are correct - IE only. It uses an ActiveX plugin. I haven't ran it through IETab in FF, but I suspect that it probably wouldn't render there either.
Of course, I don't know that the FF spellchecker works in every type of input box on vB forum software. I tried getting it to trigger in this reply and couldn't, but could get it to trigger in a different simple text box. And, Mayhem, nice job on the hijack! |

Okay, to get this to work under the full, WYSIWYG editor, you need to right click on the text box and choose 'spell check this field'. This, of course, is under FF2.0.
If it underlines a word as being spelled incorrectly, just double click on the word to highlight it, right click, and then at the top of the context menu it will have suggestions or 'add to dictionary' (FYI - the word 'okay' is NOT in the dictionary but 'WYSIWYG' is...) |
