thats why I tend to play only MTTs and occasionally sngs. Much safer for my relatively small bankroll. So far, (although only a small sample) i have +ev and plan on playing mostly MTTs for a while.

I would love it if I could just play MTTs, but I wouldn't make any money. I have to play ring games and SnGs > make money > and then play in MTTs for experience and fun. The way I see it, the only way you MAKE money is if you do *really* well - and even despite one's talent, the odds against are tremendous.
But this works for you, so keep it up. I guess there is a lot to be said about the differences between tournament players and cash players. It's a completely different game.
