is it hell

more like £14,000 nationwide, it might be that much down south cos the standard of living is so high, the cencus reckons about £14-15k p/annum. And for me in my current job/s, that win equates to approximately £35,000, which is 2 and a bit years wages up here.

Oh jimmy, yeah elderly retire here, but damn drugs are taking over the surrounding area.

yeah, on a serious less pissed off note, i dont often play 3/6, i play 2/4 NL and SnGs mainly.

Played 5 SnGs today, $55 - $215, wherever the action was, and cashed in 4 of them. That was a bit of a donkament for me, and i regret it, drink fuelled poker is not good, as i now know.

It wont happen again, not in the near future anyway.

Jesus 14k average, I think people earn more than than on social security, in my area the average pay for jobs is.

corporate directors earn the most money, with an average of £60,000. These are followed by technical director at £50,510; corporate manager at £40,170; and technical manager at £39,570.

Non-managerial roles in design and development, production, technical, and test and service, range from £33,790 down to £26,460.

To earn the most money you need to work in the components sector, which is probably benefiting from the growth of fabless chip design firms. This is followed by the traditionally more lucrative computers sector, followed by communications and broadcast.

To earn above the national average, you need to be in East Anglia, London, the south east and Scotland, but avoid the Midlands and the north west as the average wage is below £32,000 here.

When it comes to getting a pay rise the electronics industry is not doing too well. According to the Office of National Statistics, the average annual rate of salary growth in the UK at the time of the survey was 4.3 per cent, but 78 per cent of respondents got less than this with the average for the electronics industry being 3.44 per cent.

So, if you won 2 and half times your local average yearly wage invest it well, use it to change your life, dont play against players like TP and JD, believe me you wont win, these guys will take your money and laugh.
Stick to your level and play within your budget.

Good luck eeejit, I feel you will need it.
