to be honest i dont give a shit what you say.
I was drunk, it was my birthday, id just won A $109 and 2nd in a $215 SnG for $1k on stars, so overall even. If you wanna play now, lets go. What about that private table. Its also kinda insulting what your doing. "oh look at me, im the big man now" e.t.c. We know you win loat, we know im a twat, lets leave it there. Assuming you are talking to me, I don't know what in the world you are talking about. I'm not saying that I am the big man (or that I win a lot) - it was more putting you back in YOUR place a bit, and hopefully helping remind you that you really don't need to continue to play above your head and piss away all the money that you won. Go read jimmym's post, if you somehow missed it.
And bluffing is part of the game, is it not? Goody for you. Seems as if I got it all back in the end, didn't I? Well, I got my money back and the other guys got the rest of yours. Anyway, I'd think this would be a good reality check for you, and like JD said in the other thread, this 20 hand donksession of yours last night could be a good thing for you and SAVE you money in the long run (Edit: Actually, he said winning might have been a bad thing for you - but it's along the same lines)... but instead of cashing out mot of your big hit and playing at more reasonable levels, you are challenging me to take more of your money? Are you even serious? Why would you do that??? If you feel that I'm the "big man" and you are a "twat," why in the world would you want me to take more of your money? Well I mean, was it to make fun of eejit and show how bad he is or was it to show that you're better at poker than him and he should go play at lower levels since he's not at skillful or was it to teach him a lesson about playing with the "big boys" or was it....
I mean, the guy gets on my nerves and seems to be missing vital grips on certain aspects of reality...but still...

It was none of the above, really. If I had to pick one of those choices, I'd say it was to make fun of eejit, but it was really more a warning to him and anyone else who thinks the SWA approach ("I can beat any game!") is optimal after a big score. Personally, I think it's really sad when people insist on blowing all of their poker winnings by moving up too fast.
That said, I also knew a number of people here would find this very amusing, so it was for their enjoyment as well. If that makes me a dick, then a dick I be. |
