i think pretty much poker is a game that has to be played for fun, until you become a true pro. the fact that you can build your bankroll to a certain point and lose it to some idiot, really makes it tough to justify all the time you put into it. i think at some point it becomes a decision as to whether you just like playing poker or you actually want to get serious about it.

STOP PLAYING NL POKER THEN...just play limit then you dont lose your whole bankroll to that idiot.

Brian, you can lose your whole bankroll playing limit - just probably not in one hand. One bad session at $5/10 L is the same if not worse as a bad *hand* at the $100 or $200 NL tables.
And, by the way, he seems like a good player. I can empathize with his frustration - it happens to me (and everyone else?) all the time.

yea i agreee but he was saying he lost his whole bankroll in one hand unless I missread, which is possible. Dont know im a better limit player then no limit so alot of my answers contain the words play limit. |
