Phil Hellmuth Eliminated
Phill Hellmuth was all-in with A-Q, versus an opponent's pocket 7s. The 7s hold up, and a once short-stcked Phill Hellmuth is now eliminated. |

Hellmuth got knocked out holding AQ A Q! I'm telling you now, muck that shit or it will bite you.

I was SUPPOSED to go broke with AQs tonight, but I didn't. Zy was railing me at the time and said he would have. That's not necessarily saying I played the hand perfectly, but AQ did try to break me.

And it's just been announced: The winner will walk away with $12,000,000. The next 11 players will also become millionaires (if they're not already).

I think it's something like this. I meant to post this yesterday, while you were still playing, but I forgot.
Hey, when you're on, you're on ... Thorsson Eliminates Another William Thorsson raises to $700 from the cut off and the button re-raises to $1,200. The small blind makes a third raises to $3,500. Thorsson re-raises $7,000 more and the small blind calls. The flop comes A22 and the small blind checks and Thorsson moves all-in for $100,000. The small blind makes the call after 2 minutes of deliberation and shows K-K. Thorsson taps the table and says "Wow," and sheepishly shows his 75. The turn is a 3 and the river a 4 giving Thorsson the wheel. Thorsson now sits with $125,000.

Is Alan Cunningham the only "big name" left? I think he is.
With only 46 players left, we are WAY ahead of schedule... Crazy. |

Whoa! Alan Cunningham was short stacked the last time I saw him... he's second in chips with almost 12 million right now! That's twice as many as third place has...
And then there were 19. |

Farha Eliminated With Full House
John Phan raises pre-flop, and he is called by Joe Berry and Sam Farha. The flop comes 964, Phan raises, Berry calls, and Farha re-raises. Phan folds and Berry smooth calls. The turn brings another 6, and once again, Farha bets into Berry who just calls. The river brings a 10, and Farha moves all-in. Berry calls and Farha flips over pocket 9s for a full house. Berry shows pocket 6s, and Farha can't believe his opponent turned quads against his top set. Farha is eliminated. Ouch! even worse... Hardest Beat EVER Jack Mahalingam is all-in for $5,000 and is called an opponent in late position. Mahalingam shows 88 and his opponent has 55. The flop is 655 and his opponent flops quads. The turn is a 9 giving Mahalingam a gut-shot straight flush draw (his only way to win). The river is the 7 giving Mahalingam the straight flush and the hand.
