What is the standard tip out % at the WSOP ME?
Unless Im off (or not realizing exactly how many dealers are needed), Im thinking they'll be taken care of....

I am not sure about this year, but in the past I think they have pooled everything and paid by a percentage worked system (so the that folks that deal the less valuable events don't get screwed).
For those history buffs out there, the system is similar to how payout was distributed on New England whaling boats. (sorry about this, but I just finished and wanted to brag). |

Let's just say that the tips add up to $500,000 (I'm just picking a number). With 500 dealers working (picking another number), that's only $1000 a head. Sure, $1000 is a nice tip, but for 6 weeks of work?
And I think my numbers may be generous. I believe people tip less now that money is withheld specifically for the dealers. |
