yeah, then he turned and rivered the last 8s......quint 8 beats quad aces...but hey i qualified for the bad beat jackpot....pfffft......no he flop his eight, he wont last long, i dont think he understands the concept of big tourney play.....

Whew. I made it in before I got blinded out. Well, I wasn't really worried about being blinded out, but I figured I'd be down 300-400 chips. Made it back a bit earlier than I figured (but later than I'd initally planned on) and was only down a couple hundred and was pleased to see that we've started with deep stacks. I've now managed to build up my stack to ~11K (around 45th place out of 1250). Hopefully I'll do talkingpoker.com proud!

and I'm out...
AQ - blinds 100/200. I'm the BB. 2 limpers and the SB completes. I raise to 1000 and the one limper calls. Flop is 3-x-A. I jam. He calls and turns over K  3. Of course, a king turns with no help for me on the river. Out in 522nd.I vow to do better in tomorrows $5 tourney! I will not let my forum people down! |
