I actually still haven't booked my flights yet.... trying to decide if I should use FF Miles and take shitty flights, or if I should pony up $450ish and take half decent ones.
Either way, I'm planning on getting there just before the Main Event - probably on the 26th sometime. I'll be staying until the 7th or 8th, mostly likely (and if I need to change a flight to stay later than that, woohooo - go me!). Can't wait to meet up with you guys who will be there. And let it be known that my starting day isn't until Sunday, the 30th, meaning I have a few completely open days to do whatever - poker, party, WHATEVER! My schedule is wide open.

On that note...
Can we kinda-sorta fix when a 'TPF Meet' would work out best? Right now it's not looking good for me getting there personally, but I would like to have a time frame in mind should the opportunity arise.

It sounds like sometimes during the opening weekend of the Main Event..... probably Thursday the 28th (day before the Main Event) or sometime that weekend. I'm not staying out late on Saturday, so if getting loaded is part of the plan, Friday night would be much better for me.

Friday the 28th is sounding promising for a forum meetup. Depending on what else is going on, I'd recommend Palms. Though off-strip, it is close to the Rio, usually full of eye candy, and has a good sized poker room.

This sounds good to me too. We could also meet up at the Rio, where Day 1a of the Main Event will be underway. Where we go from there can be determined on the spot...
