Haven't made my picks for event #4 yet. Going to wait until the stacks are counted tonight to see who is still playing #3. Although I do see some people, such as Carlos Moretenson (sp?), are playing both #2 and #3 - I'm guessing he played the first two hours of #3 today, then sat out to finish up #2 and then will go back to #3.

Crazy, isn't it??? But that must be what they are doing.
I can't believe they had 500 ALTERNATES for the first real event (Event #2). That is SICK. Sucks to be you if you didn't preregister. |

man.... I wouldn't be surprised AT ALL to see the ME hit 10K. That's gonna be some crazy sick payday for the winner.

I can't even imagine. It's gonna be GREAT.
Apparently, they are doing the breaks in shifts now.... first, one half of the room gets a 15 minute break and then the second half gets the next 15 minutes. There were serious issues (massive lines) around the bathrooms last year, so I assume this is to try to prevent that. It's just crazy having THAT many poker players all in one place. |

Man, so envious right now. I don't have a realistic shot of going this year (the UB Freeroll is really my last shot, although I suppose I could start hammering whatever's left of the FTP freerolls) but man I wish I was going. Some year....

I forgot to make my picks today. Ooops. Guess I have yesterday's lineup in or something. Not sure how it works.
It's pretty tough to pick in advance, not knowing who many not even be in the event. Not everyone plays all the events, even if they aren't in another one at the same time. |
