I don't think you're in the minority at all, Penguinfan. Everything you said makes sense (same goes for ChipFish).
And in case I ever was unclear, I never even once suggested that I wouldn't pay Aeq what I "owe" him. I only said that if he wanted to play me heads up, sure, I'd be all for it, but he can only "double" up to $50, and not $60. That's it. Then it got blown into this huge thing.... Had I realized ahead of time that Aeq's bankroll coun't support a $5.25 buy-in, things would have taken a far different direction. |

Has there been a conclusion to this?? Is it 12/9 on PS @7pm ET? I dont have a stars acct. and need to figure something out to see this. we need a catch phrase for this also, rumble at the table or something more clever than that. suggestions??

 I don't think we ever did settle this... I have a NL game to get to Thursday night, but it usually doesn't start until 8, and I can be a little late... so sure, this still works for me. But tonight would be better - maybe during MNF. Aeq? You available? |

A catchphrase would be great. I was thinking something more along the lines of: "Running an affiliate website doesn't make you good at poker." Ya know, something like that?
Tonight is not good for the match.  If it's ok w/ you: -Thursday 12/9, 7pm (or 6pm if that's better for you) -Pokerstars $5.25 SnG. -If you want to transfer the $5.25, then do so. If you don't want to, then just let me know, so that I can deposit money into Stars. These will be the details unless something doesn't work for you.

I would much rather you play with your own money, yes. Everything is simpler that way. I know nothing could ever possibly be complicated with you, but still...
Do you really only play poker once a week? Why such a delay with all this? But yeah, sure... Thursday night it is. My "Talking Poker" account at Stars is not play enabled, so I guess I'll have to use my personal account. No worries though. |
