Blackjack is most definately a game that structured against you....

Can you win? Yes

Is it likely you'll win? No

When your in casino next time, take 5 mins to check out how many blackjack tables there are and watch someone who has 10- posts at a table. Give it 30 mins....

Blackjack = casino moneymaker....

Stick to Baccarat or Pai Gow Poker, those games have your best odds to win

I disagree.

I was referring to computer generated blackjack on online poker sites. Not the same as the real thing. You're playing one on one with a computer. Odds of winning this way are lessened than by playing at a real casino blackjack table.

You surely realize how 100% inaccurate these 2 statements are don't you?

Sorry, forgot to delete first part.

As for the 2nd part...I believe that playing one on one with a computer is a guessing game of sorts. When you play blackjack in a casino with other players and a dealer, it's different, more strategizing perhaps. As for the odds of winning or losing, I shouldn't have said anything about it since statiscally speaking I don't really know.

In all reality it also depends on the number of decks in the shoe. I forget the reasoning behind it, but the house take goes up as the number of decks in the shoe goes up. Plus, it's fairly easy to count cards in blackjack up to about four shoes, then it gets prohibitive. Yes geniouses can do it up to six deck shoes, but four decks is about the limit that the average person could count. And remember, it's not illegal to count cards, just severely frowned upon.

Disclaimer: I don't play blackjack or any other table games unless I'm really ,really bored. Just had a buddy who could count and he won a decent chunk of change over about a six month period.

In casinos from Winnipeg, they have a responsibly gaming section which gives you statistics on the games played at all Casinos of Winnipeg.

I unfortunately don't have the stats on me, but next time I go I will grab a copy and post it.

However, it did state the average amount of money one loses in an hour.

The two games, that were the lowest Pai Gow Poker, and Baccarat.

Plus, talking to dealers at local casinos, they have openly stated that Bacarat is the game with the best odds, then Pai Gow (5% house commision, wonder why? Because they need to make money somehow).

Also, on a related note. Blackjack play is often quick and fast. The longer you are a table, the better the odds you will be walking out with less money. Are there rushes? Yes, but just like any other game you have to know when to walk away.
