Thanks... I've been going through my pay tourney history and noticed that my most common way of losing is:

1. Bluffing a pot on the flop and turn, losing about half my stack
2. Going all-in on AJ or 77 and getting snapped in a race

Does anyone else do this? Number 1 leads to number 2. I think I've got to cut my losses if my bluff is called on the flop (unless the player is noticably weak).

Overall, I'm happy with my play. I haven't deposited any money, and I've been able to build a bankroll of $350 ($480 at one point until my drunk friend entered me in a $100+9 SNG)

Are freerolls really that good a gauge of your tourney play. It seems like there are a lot more people just dicking around in freerolls than there would be in a regular tourney, like the first hand all in people, and that would completely change the complexion of the tourney.

My personal best is 8/938 in a freeroll, those are the only big tourneys I've played before.

I have never done either of the two things you mentioned EXCEPT when VERY short stacked and I had no choice. All in Pre-Flop with 77 and a critical stack is not a bad thing.

The one thing I do not do well: Beleive the All-In. I sometimes am too eager to call the all-in against me. I should normally just fold and wait for a better chance.

I usually bounce between NL hold em and omaha hilo. I'm just not a fan of 7 stud for some reason, live or online. I definitely don't think that any game is too specialized, I think the more games you try and play the better overall player you'll be.

I have 3 MTT final table tourneys. My 1st was a victory in a Pokerroom tourney with about 450 People, 5+1 buy in.

my 2nd was also at Pokerroom. 10+1 buy in with about 150 people. I finished 4th or 5th, I forget.

Most recently i joined a Stars 1$ buy in lol with like 1875 people. Made it to final four and we decided to chop the rest of the pot equally. I had the shortest stack and it was 5 AM so i didnt oppose it.
