BTW.... those with 0 posts who have visited the forum today include:
thecardmasta

And that's it. There are a few people with less than 5 posts.... I'm not saying that they are or are not eligible to win (leaning towards not), but it certainly wouldn't hurt if they decided to formally introduce themselves anyway!

Default hey i think...

Hey, I signed up a while ago when i saw someones location at PS as talkingpoker.com. I usually lurk here, but never have felt that I should post. I love reading everything here, whether its bad beats (sorry), or someone flopping quads. ITs also great to read about how much I should sit with at a cash game(ALWAYS the max lol) and someone going deep in a huge tourny. I might not deserve the 20$ ( I think i do!!), but I do love the site

Whenever I feel like it.

Maybe in 5 minutes... maybe on April 30th. Probably somewhere in between.

Hello TalkingPoker,

I am eighteen years old, a senior in high school, and poker is my dearest love. I used to play only weekly live games with my friends, but i had begun to grow tired of playing with the same people and for such a limited amount of time (i also felt bad taking their money on a regular basis :-D) So, i began supplementing my desire to play cards 24/7 by getting my friend (KMB4, member of this blog) to lend me a few dollars to play Pokerstars. I always seemed to build my bank up to $50 then blow it all in .10/.25 cash or $10+1 sngs. Recently i hit my big break winning $450 for my friend in a $10+1 deepstacks tourny on his sn and getting 50% of the profit i earned for him ($170). From there i had about $220 in my account and i was smart putting only 5% of my money into any sit and go, tournament, or cash game. Everything was going fine - i was hovering around $400-$500 - when my interim came and i had a D-, a C+, and some other not so good grades. My parents promptly uninstalled pokerstars from my computer and made me withdraw all of my winnings ($349).

My current pokerstars account balance: $0.00. Now my only way to stay connected to the online poker world without any Pokerstars is by visiting . I enjoy reading about the bad beats people take, the situations TalkingPoker is put under in those difficult 90 man sngs, and all the other random poker talk on this site. Reading people's accounts is the closest thing to actually playing. Since i am not playing i have nothing to post, but i still visit this blog frequently.

My parents are going to let me play Pokerstars again in May when AP exams are finally over, but the problem is i have no way to deposit, and all of my friends are out of Pokerstars money. I know I am probably not the most deserving blogger for this $20, but i feel that if i get the $20 i will be smart with it (play .01/.02 NL and $1.20 sngs) and hopefully build-up a bankroll big enough to safely play those 90 man $50+5 sngs with Talking Poker himself! :-D

LOL. Not quite. You must have used a translator.

His french isn't all that bad. You have to remember, Quebecers are used to slang words, so we'd understand "poste" in the context it is written and not in the meaning of the word itself.

If a Quebecer, such as myself, translates this; you'd get: I speak (write) a very very very little French. And thankyou for the photo sexy of bunny. Hawh-hawh-hawh-HUH! (My laugh francais)

Wow...my french is shit, eh?

Goodbye. (Salut = bye)

First off, we don't have a stupid French laugh, we're not honky tonk people.
We say, "eh" or "ay" a lot. I mean "a lot". We end it at every (verbal) sentence whether it needs to be there or not. Form of habit.

LOL = RTF (rire tres fort)

I was going for the France french, but bunny's Quyebec translation is closer to what I intended. I think eejit just did a sucky job of translating. That's what I think.

And I remembered the word for "write" - Sweet!

As for the laugh, you know that old stereotype... from about 1000 movies and tv shows. It's not a literal sound - it's the "I am so much better than you" kind of laugh. It's a bitch to spell though.
