As of right now, my account stands at $23 and change, not accounting affiliate revenue. I've mostly been playing the $5 1-on-1s, so I'm not sure if I have enough raked hands to qualify yet. If not, I'll try the micro-limit NL, which despite my dislike of NL cash games, seem plenty beatable. I plan to cash out a portion of my winnings after the 1st of the month when my affiliate payment gets made. I'll keep half of whatever I have to play with, because the site's not a bad second choice when waiting for Party reloads or for a change of pace.
For anybody who hasn’t signed up yet … Lou quadrupled his starting bank roll, I more than doubled mine. With a 25% deposit bonus and 10% rake back, it is well worth bonus whoring at the least. |

You're really coming strong with the affiliate link for Mirabelle. Do they treat their affiliates well?

So far, the return has been fair. My affiliate account has something like $24, and grows at less than $5 a week (though if people are cashed out, likely less soon.) But thanks to you guys, what I do have is a large number of sign-ups – 22 and counting. So if the site takes off, which granted seems like a long shot, that could potentially start to generate some returns down the road. Not that Mirabella would ever reach Party-like status, but I can only imagine what 22 sign ups to Party are worth. I alone have probably made my Party affiliate a small fortune.
This is my first experience as an affiliate – apologies if I’m hammering on it too hard. Lou, I notice you don’t have any standing affiliate links on your blog. Too much of a hassle? Anybody else have success stories or cautionary tales on being an affiliate? |
