I just recently made the same jump about a couple months ago. I was somewhat nervous, but not as bad as you say you are, but I found that moving back down to $25 once in a while helped me make the jump. You know, if you are completely card dead or take a couple rough beats, it may help to go back to where you are 100% confortable. Or maybe it's one of those days where you feel you aren't concentrating as much as you could, that would be a good time to play the lower limit. I played both for a couple weeks, then moved to $50 exclusively.
The players there are better (At PS anyway), but it's not like they're a bunch of Johnny Chans. I still see a lot of dumb calls especially on draws, but I think the selective aggression is a lot better overall then the $25 level. I use the trap sometimes now, whereas I almost never did in $25 where the play is much more passive.
