If 7 people vote and 4 of them think Mark P will beat Brian S, then Mark P advances to the next round.

That's what I understood anyway. It's "who do you think" would win.

I really don't see the point of this unless they were to really play this. A fun thing Daniel Negreanu does each year is have a Fantasy WSOP pool. Where you basically rank 20 players from 1 through 20. Each player accumulate points for all events held at the WSOP where it's an open tourney. Eg. All womans, seniors, dealers, media events don't count. If your player finishes in X spot in the tourney, they get so many points. Points earned from the main event are double.

The point total for each player is then multiplied by your ranking. So if you picked Phil Ivey #1, and he got say 50 points. You would get 50X20 = 1000 points. However, if you picked him 20th, then you get 50X1 = 50 points.

The most points wins the pool. I think last year he gave away a 10k buy in to any tourney.

its for fun thats the point, yea shabi you are right thats exactly how its done. I will tally up around 10am eastern time. Have a interview with local newspaper then do the round 2 matchups and give totals.
