Default Freeroll

You said 22 which is fair enough. I went and looked at the member list and there are about 40 or so people who have thousands of posts. After that its a crap shoot. Im not going to sit here and beg you to get in, Id play even if it was for no money. I just want the chance to be recognized and get the chance to be a backee. I joined today and have 20+ posts. Im not joining to play in the freeroll and then never say anything useful to the site. I seen 100's of people who joined in the last week and have made 1 or fewer posts. Im just asking that you atleast consider a few people who are new that have given useful information to the site, whether it is me or others. I wouldve jumped on this site a year or two ago , but I had never heard of it. Just please consider letting in a few newbees, thats all Im asking. If not, its going to be hard for me, or any other newbee for that to ever catch up to the 25-50 people who have been on the site for years and post alot. Thanks for your time.

I'm not asking anyone to catch up. We've had 3 freerolls in the last month. The first one was overrun by a bunch of people who weren't invited. The second was last night and had 160 people, of which, I'd say 10% were actual "contributing members."

This freeroll, was awarded to the forum because of a good showing we made in the forum challenge tourney. My final table finish got us the most points and the site administrator (talkingpoker) decided to let me do whatever I wanted with the freeroll.

So, I thought it would be fun to play in a nice tourney with people that I've "gotten to know" here over the last year. Believe me, some fresh faces are going to be playing in the tourney. However, they've all been around for a month or so. I should've posted it, (not that it would've prevented anything) but there is no way anyone who signed up for an account after the first post in this thread is getting in.

That's how I want it to go down.

BTW, there are not 40 people with "thousands of posts." I know it's way less than 20 and not even all of them are invited. Only people who posted in this thread and who have contributed.

Alright that works. You got your say and thats fine. All im saying is the only way I found out about this site was through the freeroll. And on the freeroll it said join now and enter the freeroll. Im going to stick around no matter what so it doesn't matter to me. Just remember I wasnt one of those people yesterday in the freeroll that was a one and done. I just thought if I signed up I was in. Can I play in the freeroll for kicks, and if I were to place just give you the money back. I dont even care about the money, Id just rather play some good competition and get to know the people around here better. Ive already gotten to know Brian and a few others, Id like to get to know the cream of the crop alittle bit better. Just a consideration, like I said though do as you please.
