Oh I see I thought it was because you thought it was more likely in holdem to get a royal compared to omaha, thats cool then.

The chances in Omaha aren't as high as you might think. First, you still may only get 2 of the suited cards needed, so getting a third makes it impossible. 2nd, other players also have 4 cards so the chances are greater that they have one of the necessary cards. Nice hand though. I've had a few A-5 flushes, arguably the absolute best hand in that game, but if you catch the royal with the A in your hand that is even better.

Funny thing is, I've been beaten in omaha with a A-5 flush by the 3-7 flush.

Same thing happened to me, my 23 beaten by 78, good thing it was limit(and i had to split A2 low).
