That would be me. Well, I am still building my bankroll (on Stars not Party though). And the only card room near me only has $1/$2 limit (at the dog track) but I am sure I can get a fake ID and drive to an Indian Casino down by Miami.
That last sentence really made me laugh.

Oh, sorry ... just if anyone on the list reminds you of anyone you know, or if there's anyone you'd want to add. It's for purely comical reasons. |

I think you did forget at least one..... because I don't think I fit into any of the categories on that list.

Haha I probably don't get it but I will take tripling up in my first casino cash game not matter how big of a donkey I seem to be.
Note: I figured at first it was some sick ass prodigy underage kid stepping into his first cash game (hence the blinds questions) who was destroying everyone at the table because that is what I wish I was. But I bet he is just sucking out on everyone

no need man all casinos here in miami are 18 and over. Yore talking about the Miccosukee Indian Tribe casino that is about 5 mins from my house and 18 and over. The Seminole Hard Rock in Ft. Lauderadale is 18 and over. The Flagler dog track is 18 and over. The old seminole casino is 18 and over. Miami, Dania, and Hollywood Jai Alai are all 18 and over. You can play casino poker here in miami 18 and over not 21, ive been to them all.

Only stuff in florida 21 and over are the boats that go out, they are actually the only places in florida that the limit is ok. Although there used to be a pool hall in south florida that had a pretty sweet 5/10 and 100 min NL game that ran for a few months. Up until the time that the television ads that they ran drew in enough people that it was way too well known. The point to what I was saying, look for the boats to go out on. They were fun.

I enjoyed your piece on personalities. If I was making a casino/poker movie I would include those characters into the shots.
I was looking for the one that fits me, and I'm not in there. It got me thinking how would I describe mine. Here's what I came up with: THE QUIET GUY: Pleasant but serious. Calculates and follows the game even when not in the pot. Usually leaves with more money then he came with. You might want to fill out your piece with longer story lines, putting more color and flavor to each personality, etc. Then submit it to a poker magazine like Poker Player Newspaper. I've written three articles for them. Good luck. Citytom |

TP and CT:
It's probably a GOOD thing that none of these fit your description. Most of them are vastly sarcastic descriptions of a few of the "usuals" we all tend to see in live casino games. In fact, I'm pretty sure that 99.9 percent of players don't fall into any of these categories. I'd like to think that if we fall into anything, it might be the "Nice Guy" category, although I know TP well enough to know that he's DEFINITELY a cross between "The Burnout" and "Former Mafia Guy."

haha, yeah, right. I'm closest the the "Nice Guy," but there is a bit of "Mr. Too Cool" and "The Professor" in me, as well. Fortunately, the Professor in me only make an appearance when I'm playing with people I know (and usually when they are learning and trying to get better). I hatre the annoying professor types. I quite like getting into it with them though, so maybe that makes me the Anti-Professor.
