thats way way way over your head, $50 isnt even enough to play .50/1.00 hell its barley enough to play .05/.10 NL. You need $600 to play 1/2 to be able to handle the swing of limit and if your talking NL you need 2k to play 1/2 NL. NL you need at least 10 buyins at the max |

10 buy-in's? You're more of a gambler than me, I want 40 but I don't ever want to go broke or move down so to each his own...

no im not 10 buy ins of 1/2 is 2k dollars if you cant handle swings with that much you shouldnt be playing. If you bust out 10 consecutive tables you really really shouldnt be playing poker. so you have to have 8k dollars until you play 1/2 with a max buy in of $200? |

Ever been on a downswing, it's not hard to drop 10 buyins. 20 would be fine if you don't care to move down, but not going broke is what's most important to me so I want the bankroll a pro 'should' have to play full time.

fair enough I didnt look at your side totally when I posted that. Better to be safe then sorry honestly if you wanted to take 100 buy-ins that would be fine. It just become problem when you take your whole bankroll into a game and think thats fine. |
