I got into poker when I tore my ACL in lacrosse and was out for 6 months. It gave me back some of the "sense" of competition I lost when I was injured. After busting out of my first two $50 deposits (a lot for me) I learned a lot about money management

It helps pass the time.

To get better at cash games. Overall I think I can say I am a winning tournament player, but not at cash games (I deposited money twice so far and busted out in cash games). I also pretty much only play No Limit Hold 'Em so I would like to improve my skills in other games as well.

I would like to get some money back into online poker and manage it better. I would like to teach myself the basic math of poker. (2.5-1 odds, 4-1 odds I understand what it means just not how to come up with those odds myself in my head.)

I play online because the only Card Room near me is 20 minutes away at the dog track and it's only game is $1/$2 limit. I play at PokerStars because I am better (at least I like to think I am) at tournaments than cash games and PokerStars offers the best tournaments I have seen anywhere. (Party doesn't have that many, and I can't stand UB's interface)
