Cautionary Tale: How to Lose $40 in One Hand

Too funny.

Last Saturday at my NL $30 buy-in ring game, we only had 6 players. The wife is constantly checking my cards before I get them, and the people I'm playing with are going to pick up on her tells much easier than mine.

So I gave her $20 to sit down with just so I could play my own hands.

She lost her $20 - mostly to me - in about 15 minutes. Then she went to bed.

I think investing the $20 in her to stop standing behind me and nudging me every time I had a good hand was more than worth it.
