There is no way danneman could of thought Hatchem floped a straight. I think he did the right think going all in he had a straight draw and then he flops a pair of aces. He played well and enjoyed watching him play. He just went out there and played and enjoyed it. He wasn't worried on how far he was going to make it.

I might be a "safer" HU player than most -- but I personally would of smooth called, or if I raised and he pushed, Id give serious consideration to laying the hand down
PS: It sucks that we couldnt see more HU action, the past two years have been a few hands, I loved the Moneymaker/Farha HU |

i thought that danneman played that hand fine. obviously the end result was very, very bad for him, but i think that he played that hand much better than david williams played the final hand last year.
he seemed like a pretty normal guy, and accounts of him since the tourney dont really refute that. apparently he was at foxwoods this week sweating a friend in the WPT event, he wasnt even playing. it sounds like he hasnt let the newfound fame and fortune go to his head. |
