Opening Raise Amounts NL Holdem

I know I always start the heads up tourney by raising(3X BB) from the button every time.
I do this until my opponant starts fighting back.
Then I will take a few off and start it again. (If my chip stack is too low, I have to be more picky as to when I do it.)
So far it has worked against most opponants.
That being said, I have run into a few that will start the reraises right off the bat, so then I go into other more random stratagies like the ones you guys mention.
