even if its crap, it still is a pretty cool promotion.
i wonder how much the insurance for the 100 mil is for the site, as i am sure that they arent just puting that up themselves. |

It's really not that big of a deal.... just an excuse to make up a really big number that they will never have to pay out.
And I'm sure they are insured too.... just like those Hole in One contests and other crazy promotions (like Pepsi's Billion $ thing a few years ago) always are. Last edited by Talking Poker; 10-03-05 at 02:30 AM. |

i couldnt ever see this happening. No-one would insure this against a random number gentarot, noone. Too risky. This is where the "random" of the hands might not be exactly that.

This is simply untrue. There are comapnies who will insure pretty much anything. They calculate the odds and come up with a number. It's that simple. I'm sure they will do the due dilligence to make sure Noble's RNG is solid first, of course...

I think it's a "live" tournament....
Therefore the RNG is meaningless for this promotion. Now if you could pay off a good "mechanic" dealer... You could up your odds. ![]()

Trust me when I say this...you can put a price on any risk. The premium will be adjusted according to the odds.
