Seriously guys, the Ultimate Bet bonus is one of the worse in the industry. If you guys play there it should be because:

A) You find the competition softer
B) You like their tourneys - structure, number of games available, satellites
C) You like the software a lot more than anywhere else

If you guys didn't know, they have cut the amount of UB points you can get per a hand in half. Making the bonus which was poor to begin with, twice as worse now.

For those that are good shorthanded players but prefer full ring games... UB points aren't that bad at all.

Simply be the first or second person to sit and play at a table and you get double UB points.... If I play a cash game at UB, I usually start the table.

I can't confirm this, but I understood that UB got rid of the double points for starting tables and switched it to 1.5X UB points for the first player, and 1.25X for the second player to sit. They made the change like 2-3 months ago. Regardless, even if it's two times, it makes it back to the original bonus which is worse than a 10x bonus.

Hmmmmm. Didn't know about them cutting the points in half though.
Now I would just get regular points.

Here's the Ultimate Points stucture now:

Rake UltimatePoints™
$0.50 - $3.00 0.50
$0.25 - $0.45 0.25
$0.05 - $0.20 0.10

And the policy regarding starting a new table:

Be the first player to join any real money table with five or more seats and earn 25% more UltimatePoints™ for the entire time you play at that table. Be the second at the table and earn 25% more UltimatePoints™ the entire time you play at that table.

Bonus UltimatePoints™ for starting games will be credited to your Ultimate Player's Club account immediately upon leaving the table.

Note: Bonus UltimatePoints™ are not given for joining a table from a waitlist.

So even if you're the first to sit at your table and you rake 50 cents or more every hand, you're clearing the bonus at 16 hands/dollar.
