A) Playing K5 off isn't something you want to run your money with all the time....you play poor hands more often, you're going to get screwed more often.
B) The only scare card on the board for him was the King. There's only two things he's really worried about, the King, or a pocket pair. So I don't blame his play. The bet on the turn was nearly enough to push him out. If he didn't believe you on the flop bet, he's gotta call the same turn bet. C) It's poker....I've seen a lot worse beats than this. |

I think the bigger bet should have been on the turn -- otherwise, you are giving him the chance to chase relatively cheap. And when he reraised like that, what did you put him on? It would have been very possible he had you outkicked.
Also, am I missing something, or is something off with the hand history? You had three of kind Kings, not Kings and sixes, right? Or am I misreading this somehow? Finally, beware of players with the screen names of obscure Phish songs. |

Something doesn't make sense here....
look at the bold: >>> SHOWDOWN <<< eejit101: shows [Kh 5s] (two pairs, Kings and Sixes) SplitOpen+Melt: shows [4s 4d] (a full house, Fours full of Kings) SplitOpen+Melt: collects $62.88 from the pot eejit101 sits out jthornton196 sits in >>> SUMMARY <<< Total pot $64.88. Rake $2 Board: [6d Kc 2h 4h Kd] Seat 1: SplitOpen+Melt (small blind) showed [4s 4d] and won ($62.88) with a full house, Fours full of Kings Seat 6: planetdohme (big blind) folded before the flop Seat 7: Nielis (didn't bet) Seat 8: eejit101 (button) showed [Kh 5h] and lost with Three of a Kind, Kings

Nice catch. I've done a bit of bolding of my own. See above. You will also notice that his K5o magically changed to K5s by the end of the hand.
Me thinks a little bit of editing was done to this HH, namely changing a 6 to a K and also changing the 5s to the 5h to make K5o look a litte bit less trashy. Not that that helps. Personally, I'd have more respect for playing 65o than K5s, but I guess the beat didn't look quite bad enough to him. WTF? Don't waste our time with hands that never actually happened. ESPECIALLY in the Bad Beat section. |

Ok, I just looked CLOSER... It gets better!
Note this line: Board: [6d Kc 2h 4h Kd] That's the order the cards came out!!! He did in fact have 56o and his opponent had him drawing dead on the turn when he called all in. LOL. He changed his 6 to a K, then changed the 5s to the 5h to make himself look less fishy, and then to top it all off, he changed the order the cards came out. ![]() Gotta love it. |

Ahem. I missed SOME of it. But I also pointed out something screwy.
And eej, posting fake hand histories is a bizarre passtime. If you are so bored, you are welcome to come over and mow my fucking lawn. |

If you're going to fake a hand history at least put some effort into it....
Example: ***** JetSet Poker Hand History for Game 2287050 ***** $1000 NL Hold'em - Thursday, July 14, 10:41:46 EDT 2005 Table Table 548 (6 max) (No DP) (Real Money) Seat 1 is the button Total number of players : 3 Seat 2: ChipFish ( $990.00 ) Seat 3: Stormswa ( $1000.00 ) Seat 1: Goodison1878 ( $370.00 ) ChipFish posts small blind [$10]. Stormswa posts big blind [$20]. ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to ChipFish [ Qh 2c ] Goodison1878 folds. ChipFish calls [$10.00] Stormswa checks. ** Dealing Flop ** [ 6d, 9d, 9h ] ChipFish checks Stormswa checks ** Dealing Turn ** [ Jc ] ChipFish checks Stormswa checks ** Dealing River ** [ Ks ] ChipFish bets (ALL-IN) [$970.00] Stormswa calls [$970.00] ChipFish shows [ Qh, 2c ] a pair of nines Stormswa doesn't show [ 7d, 8s ] a pair of nines ChipFish wins [$1980.00] from the main pot with a pair of nines __________________ ![]() ![]() ![]()
