![]() $10 NL with $50 is only like 5 buy-ins, I know that I could lose that very easy if I have a bad day playing. I know I will be drawn out alot in .05/.10 but also cant lose $10 on it. I plan on moving up to NL when I get up to about $100 giving me 10 buy-ins. I kinda want to start from the beggining, reading through my past posts that TP and shabi so nicley found for me I reliazed how terrible my disapline was/is. I figure this will help me to gain more control, I don't care if I dont make a single cent as long as I dont bust out. Want to try to just make like $50 deposit every 2 weeks and never have to rebuy in the middle of those 2 weeks and just play within that bankroll and not move up until I reach the next level. So next level will be .25/.50 limit at $150, actully might not do NL for awhile need to focus on limit and my disapline 1st. |

to be honest i think some of the fun in poker is the chance that you can lose your money, or triple it in one night, which is why i dont bother with all your bankroll advice, ive played for a while, and i have a decent sized bankroll for where i started, and i started playing above my bankroll too. its just no fun to grind out small limits and its to boring, i like having the risk and chance of doubling up or losing it all in one hand and thats why i play poker.

![]() I really disagree with this kkirk, not arguing with you and if thats how you want to do it then hey its youre money. I actully find alot of enjoyment in grinding it out and building a bankroll. I much rather spend a month grinding $50 into $200 then taking $50 into 2/4 winning 2k and losing it in one night. TRUST ME I BEEN THERE . If losing alot of money in one night is youre idea of fun you can have it. |
