well the 'internet' guy is GambleAB... one of the most respected players online, so its not like he is just one of the randoms that qualifies for the ME via a sat or something.
if you do a search for him on FTP or PS you will find him in the bigger buyin tourneys all the time doing well. |

Cool, I guess my vision was just skewed because of tv. THats one reason it bothers me to watch select hands from a tourney.

yeah he is a aggressive online player and when you watch it on TV your going to see him making moves that would make him look somewhat bad.
Like you see Gus go allin with a A5 your not going to say 'hes a online player whose lucky' your going to say 'its Gus'. |

That was a nice fold. I would have dumped the Queens in that spot too (considering all the stacks and especialy the action in front of him), but I would have thought about it a lot longer than he did (what, 2 seconds?). Nice play.

I think it was pretty obvious that QQ was no good there. The pot had been opened, reraised, and then re-reraised (not to mention there were still players to act behind him).
Even assuming the original opener had only a decent hand, and the reraiser had something like AK, the 3rd raiser has to have at least a pair JJ or higher You are behind with QQ with that action 95% of the time IMO |

Frangos did luck out because of the action in front of him...
GambleAB raised UTG or UTG+1 with 9Ts, which isnt horrible since he will steal the blinds more often than not and people do this alot but you just dont see it on television. Lindgren then reraises with KK... Lindgren is a aggressive player so this doesnt mean he has a hand. If Goldstein just calls Frangos might of came in behind him. Or if GambleAB never plays the hand and Lindgren is the original bettor because Lindgren could have anything opening the betting. GambleAB opening the betting and Goldstein re-raising with the jacks (very bad IMO) saved him from losing. It wasnt a hard laydown with 3 raises in front of you but he did it without even thinking about putting a chip into the pot. |

used to play magic the gathering online with him, he actully recognized my name since I used stormswa on there also. He was on full tilt and in red and I was like who is this guy? he was like you used to play MTGO and was like long time ago and we started chatting. Really nice guy, very down to earth. |

Gamble is a VERY good poker player. The WSOP coverage on ESPN showed him making a few shitty plays, but this kid is really good. He's a regular on RGP.
