Not to answer for the admin, but put yourself in his shoes. He has good, quality pictures of the WSOP which are hosted on his site for people to come and see. When people come and see pictures, they often click banners, producing revenue. I would think that if he gave you authorization to use pictures, it would take away from his overall success. Of course, you may plug his site on your site, in which case, maybe it's a worthwhile situation for all parties.
Maybe I should keep to myself.
