I was going through the process Kirk described to give these a try when they first started. It IS possible to do by buying into multiple sit and goes of varying denominations to build up to the 80,000 buyin for the real money.
You might get stuck in one now and then, but for the most part noone really plays the play money sit and goes there anyway, so the people sitting at the table are likely just there doing this same process and will be gone in a minute or two.
The whole process to get to 80,000 takes about 5 minutes....
The game is a COMPLETE crapshoot! I won $9 in them before I realized how rediculous the waste of time really was, since you have to deposit before you can withdraw ANYTHING, and after you deposit you have to unlock anything you won before the deposit at $1/$2 tables and up.
