$1 O8 Tourney on Stars

Sorry, Friday night I have a standing date with 'Stars $20+2 Stud/8 multi at 9:30 ET. Usually gets 130-170 people, top prize $800-$1000.

I've played in it fairly regularly for 9 months and my records show I make $30/hr in that tourney. pretty hard to pass up.

Nah, too much bonus clearing to do and not enough time. Trying to get everything cleared up this weekend 'cause of Empire next Tuesday. I also got the Stars max bonus to get to and Pokerroom has become a pain in the ass (noone plays 1/2 O8 on that damn site). And this may sound like some lame excuse, but believe it or not some nutbag decided to throw himself in front of my train tonight, a sad day.

Anyone end up playing???

I decided to play the $10 NL tourney with 1 RB and 1 AO on stars... finished like 40th so not too bad.

Not bad at all. Itook a peak at that last night but I've never played a rebuy and not a huge fan of them.

KURN - and if you blinked, you missed me.

Not a good night. Got down early and never could climb back in it, finished in the middle of the pack shortly after the first break.

All was not lost, however. I played a $50 + 5 SNG and won that one, so all in all, it was a profitable night *and* I got to bed earlier than I would have had I cashed approx. the same amount (3rd place) in the multi.
