that is TP favorite line he used it many times when chip,tp and myself played. I find it very funny also as long as its not directed towards me.

As for the "line," I'm not always a dick, and believe it or not, I wasn't intending to be one right then. Sometimes though, when one guy in particular is being way overly aggressive (as this guy was), I'll throw that out there... This is a completely different reason that I would say it to Brian, for example. With Brian, I'm just being a dick and stating a fact
![]() What I actually said was: "So and so (I forget his name) doesn't know it yet, but he's going to give me all his chips." Then, we he pushed all in on me on the turn after I flopped and still had the nuts, I happily called and thew out the "As predicted" line. Ok, that line wasn't nice. I admit it. Anyway, the point of the original comment was to make that guy think twice, and if anything, get him tilting a little. I figured I'd let him run me over for a little while and make it look like I was getting tired of it. Then, when I would eventually come over the top of him, he'd think I was stealing back, but I'd actually have a monster. That was my logic anyway. The fact that it all played out in 5 minutes. Well, that was just a nice touch. As for the game.... I enjoyed playing with BB. I thought he was either: -The tightest player on planet earth -Playing "scared" because he was over his head -Getting bad, bad, BAD cards For what it's worth, he left the room UP... I ended up down almost $400. Of course, that tends to happen when: -You flop top 2 and runners put a 4 card straight on the board (my opponent had the exact hand I had) -You flop a set of 10s in a 5 way preflop raised pot, bet $38 at it and get FOUR callers, only to see running diamonds put FOUR on the board -You call an $18 PFR with AKs, the flop comes K52 with 2 of your suit, you go ahead and bet at it, the original raiser folds and the other dork reraises half his relatively short stack, so you put him all in and he turns over K5o and no more hearts come, nor does the board pair up. -Etc, etc, etc. It was one of those annoying sessions, where I knew I was destined to lose and that was that. Early on, the room was fairly strong, but by the time BB left, it was me and 2-3 other BAD players. I figured I'd take them for a ride, but the cards were cruel to me and that was that. It's hard to walk away from a room like that, but I was getting annoyed, so I called it a night... stuck almost $400. |
