Not sure, what if you hit the flop huge, do you play the hand out then and ignore the re-buy altogether?

well, yeah...im mean, if you hit the flop huge and win the hand then you are gonna be over the 1500 in starting chips, and you cant rebuy. And if there were a bunch of people in the hand, with chips flying around, hell you might even more than double up. In that case, of course, win the hand, take the chips, save the rebuy, and go on to win the whole tourney.....hopefully

I personally hate rebuying, if I get busted well it gives me the option to stay in but I'd much rather just play good poker instead of taking huge gambles and putting alot of money into a tourney. I usually don't add on unless I feel I have a chance of winning it . No point puttin 10 or twenty more in and then getting busted out the next hand.

You should be allowed to rebuy before the first hand is even dealt. And if you are, you should rebuy. That's the best way to play those tourneys.... start with as many chips as possible.

I like to rebuy right away and then wait for quality hands to use the big stack to the best advantage.
