Busted out rather uncerimoniously. Twice in the last 3 hands I went to the river (limit game 300/600 and final hand 400/800) with a nut flush and nut low draw and missed everything both times. Geoff, am I over-valuing this hand, I know it's a draw and in holdem I wouldn't consider it, but I am drawing to the nut hi and lo hands, should I be dumping it on the turn? IF all my outs are live I have 16 outs to the low and 9 to the high or a total of 21 outs to win at least half the pot, 4 of which scoop the pot, again, if they are all live and don't make someone else a full house or split the low.
Over playing it or just a couple bad breaks or am I counting my outs wrong?

I prefer to check it down if I'm on a draw to both ends, but if someone is betting in front of you and you have pot odds, you have to call it down here.
21 outs out of 44 cards is basically a 50% chance. You simply got unlucky. Oh, btw, if you had 9 outs to the nut high, you had 9 outs to scoop at least 3 quarters of the pot, and FIVE outs to scoop, assuming your opponent doesn't make a boat. You have game. I played you that 1 time at Empire, and you looked to play fairly tight. Maybe another day at the tables we'll see each other. I know you aren't a bank that sees every flop, I got an entire list of those buffoons. ![]()
