i didnt get the feeling that the guy who busted men with the heart draw was being disrespectful at all. i thought he just said it to be funny/ironic.
of course, that is a call that you will almost never see a pro make. they might push it in in that situation (like doyle did against lederer's set), but i doubt they would call off their chips in that situation. |

Good for "that guy"... Who says he's not allowed to call a questionable hand against Mr. Men the Master?????
How many times in his career do you think Men has sucked out on someone? Or made a very questionable call and won? Without knowing for sure, I am still confident that he has. |

Suck outs are a part of poker, it's called luck. Without them, the people that get the best hole cards would win every time, and there would be no such thing as skill involved in the game. It would be like playing a game with your family for pennies.

Exactly. Poker is a game that anyone can win on any given day, and that allure is what brings the masses to the game in the first place. Over time, the cream will rise to the top, but without the luck factor the number of new players and new money coming in would be almost nothing.
Suck outs are a part of the game, and a part that you must be able to deal with if you want to have any long term success. |

Yes, they do bring new players to the game, and with those new players comes their hard earned dollars, and with their hard earned dollars comes my supplemental income
.I can't begin to comprehend what goes through these fishies minds, depositing money, losing it, and then depositing, losing, when does it end for them? I just love taking advantage of people's gambling addictions .
