I hated the Hard Rock and the tournament structure. The dealer's aren't friendly. The chairs aren't comfortable. It's dark. It's not fun to play at whatsoever.
Not to mention there was an issue with my player's card during a 100 hours satty promotion that i was trying to beat, and because of an issue on their end, they couldn't and refused to credit me 15 hours I had clocked at 1/2. It was pretty weak.

Another option for you is the poker room at the Daytona Greyhound track. It's probably about the same drive as going to the Hard Rock in Tampa.
Here's a link: I have heard that it is similar to the poker room I play at up here in Jacksonville. And if that is the case it will be a nice room with fairly soft cash games and tournaments with decent structure. Just don't expect any of the freebies you get at the big B&M casinos.

I never did end up playing poker on the trip.
We ended up at the Vans skatepark in Orlando on my birthday, so I spent a few hours there. I am getting back to grinding cash games online, but it will be slow going.
