To answer the question posed: No its not a call, but as TP said u should be careful with dialogue along this line bc it can be misconstrued....

Then again I once had the Borgata brilliantly rule in a pot of mine that when a flop came XXX and I said to my HU opponent "better check for a diamond" that I had checked. (My opponent immediately checked after i said the statement and made a fuss over it) bc i said the word check, and that i should be careful

I asked them if my opponent asked me if I was Russian and I replied "No Im Czech" if it would also be a check? I didn't receive an answer
