Damn, this was supposed to be a new thread, not a reply.
Check out this run of cards. None skipped, this is 40 hands in a row. T5,75,K3,J3,A7,T5,K3,TJ,TJ,T5,87,23s,Q8s,J6,A8,J6, 55,A5,A4,J6,87,26,85,T8,88,56,75,64,Q6,86,74,75,T2 ,T6,76,43,Q4s,76,T8(folded flopped nut str8),53. Wonderful. Lets review for those of you who are still feeling sorry for me. 40 hands, 3 suited hands, 4 aces (4578 kickers), 2 pocket pairs (55,88), 2 hands of 20 or higher. Needless to say I didnt do well............ insert lots of swear words, really naughty ones!! Last edited by drewjax; 03-10-05 at 05:16 PM. |

When you get bad cards, just don't play. You'll be forced to pay the blinds, but if that's the worst of it, then you should be happy. This is a good reason for multitabling: sitting at one table while you keep looking at bad cards might force you at actually play those bad cards.
Multitabling keeps me disciplined. Keep in mind that the bad run will eventually end.

ya, good advise. I have only tried multi tabling a few times, not too comfortable yet.

I'm right there with you TP, this weekend has been a medley of bad beats and some tilt on my part. Actually got RAISED by some chump at Party who had 2nd pair to my kings (holding AK), and lo and behold, the turn gave him 2 pair.
