If you think Nascar is exciting, try watching a Formula One race.

NASCAR is the most profitable sport in North America, to which I ask: why? How exciting can it be watching people race a car around an oval track, bumping others in their way and risking their life?

And F1, don't get me started on that. It would be exciting if you were actually watching to see who won, rather than who comes in second .

the best kind of racing to me seems like le mans/endurance racing. seeing the different classes running together on the same track is pretty interesting, just for all of the passing. in f1, there is none of that. it is just tremendously boring to me, and im not sure how a guy like schumacer can make 60 million a year.

on the subject of nascar, i thought this past weekends race was unbelievably boring. i dont think that a short track like martinsville really showcases the sport.
