Wow... that sounds pretty serious. Do you mind explaining this more? How did it work? Software you both run that scrapes each of your screens and shares your hands with each other?

I would think this could be hugely profitable - especially depending on what you mean by it figuring out the odds.... do you mean between your hand and his, or your hand, his, and all the other "random" hands? Or was it even more sophisticated than that?
