the thing is, the college game is very different from the pro game, and skills dont necessarily translate from one level to the next. you can be a great college player, and then really struggle in the nba (laettner is the prime example of this, but there are plenty of others).

hinrich and duhon are good examples of this. they might turn out to be great nba players, but i am skeptical. they are highly rated because there are a number of people that like to rant and rave about four year players, but the fact is, they would have come out early if they were perceived to be good enough players to do so.

Duhon I agree he was a nobody basically in the draft even tho he was a starter for some great Duke teams and we just happen to draft him like late rd2.

Hinrich was going to be a lottery pick if we didnt take him so he must of been highly rated in college at one pt since he was one of the 1st college players taken that year.
