I think it's funny that people worry about things like this. The big picture is that this will attract more NEW (bad) players to Poker Stars in the long run than it will turn existing bad players into good players. But even if the latter was the case, so what? Is your game so vulnerable that if 5% of the player base (a massive overestimate) out there improves becaose of this, you're going to turn into a losing player???

This reminds me of the people that won't post on poker forums (hmmmmmmm) because they don't want to "educate the fish" with their apparent mastered strategies of the game. LOL. Yeah, cause YOUR posts are going to make a difference and negatively impact your bottom line when your opponents use them against you. Uh huh. Sure they are.

testify Brother! If I am trying to get better, and my opponents are getting better, doesn't that help me in the long run? If not I could hone my skills a lot cheaper with play money or 1 cent / 2 cent games.

Bring on the fish of tomorrow!

stormwa I dont think it will be much different then the FTP forum.

Default a bit off-topic

i remember watching a documentary about blackjack - when all the books came out with the 'correct' way to play blackjack. The mathematical systems for ideal play. The casinos were worried that this would make it tough for them to turn a profit and were actually worried that they would have to get rid of black jack.

Turned out that after all those books came out - they made MORE money at the black jack tables than before.
