Well i got knocked out 2777th. I think I played well but I was getting the cold deck the whole time.
Here was my knockout hand: PokerStars Tournament game, buy-in $200+15, Level VIII $400/$800 No Limit, 9 players Hand History by HERO (SB): T$14975 BB: T$13775 UTG: T$15600 UTG+1: T$37795 MP1: T$39480 MP2: T$49000 MP3: T$19050 CO: T$20890 Button: T$18120 Players post T$50 ante HERO posts Small Blind T$400 BB posts Big Blind T$800 Pre-flop: A ![]() ![]() UTG folds UTG+1 folds MP1 folds MP2 folds MP3 folds CO folds Button raises to T$3200 HERO raises to T$14925 BB folds Button calls T$11725 Flop: 7 ![]() ![]() ![]() Turn: 7 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() River: 7 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Button shows J ![]() ![]() Button wins T$31100 with two pair Jacks and Sixes Not sure if there's any way I could have gotten away from this, as I have to believe I have the best hand or at least a decent draw against a low pair or something. But at this stage in the tourney, I had to do something and with less than 20 BB's left, I wasn't about to let the button bully me around, esp. when I get an A10suited which was one of the best hands I saw in the 2 hours I was in it. Any thoughts? Also, for the record, after playing the Sunday Million, I absolutely hate the structure they use. I guess it's the only way they can complete that big of a tourney in that amount of time but man is it a crapshoot! From about 1.5 hours it's a complete all-in fest. Not sure if I'll ever play the million again. Maybe when I can really afford it. Man I shouldve sold those T$, such a dumb move playing a donkfest like the SM. Oh well hindsight is 20/20, now I know to stay away I guess. Sorry for the rant. That is all. |
