Help With Rebuy Tourney Strategy

It's going to be a $30 tourney.

I've read where people say, be liberal during the rebuy periods early, blah blah blah. But, being able to "rebuy" with 1500 chips or less, I'm going to buy up to 3000 right off the bat and then play tight. If I catch some cards and can catch some people playing liberally, I might be able to pick up some decent pots. Then, I add on at the break and I've got a nice stack for $30 to play the rest of the tourney.
