In "I've heard of him, news," I'm keeping an eye on Kirk Morrison. I don't know if you guys caught his story, broadcast during the Event 3 coverage, but hge's good friends with the Negreanu, Cunningham, Juanda, et al group. I guess he got over his head in Vegas (sports betting, mostly), and just disappeared - for like 8 years. He went to New Zeleand or something. Well, he's back now, and WOW - imagine if he FT's the Main Event. That would be an awfully nice start to a comeback. |

FWIW, I never assumed "noone else has heard of him" meant "nobody saw his stats on Sharkscope", (or OPR or whatever) TP wins fair and square.
